I was surprised at how good their burgers were. Simple bacon and cheese burger was great.

Timbo's has always been a great place for a good burger. It channeled enough of the old famous Little Hipps where Tim got his start, but was unique enough not to be considered a Little Hipps knock off. Without a doubt the tater tots are amazing. Somehow they were super crunchy without being super greasy. Timbo's in recent years has been nice that it was an oasis of affordable food near the Pearl. You could go, get a bite to eat, and not feel like you needed to raid the kid's college fund in order to pay for it.

Great burger. Ask for the tots extra crispy - they don't taste burnt at all.
Go as soon as possible.

Great food, well priced, and at a great location in the Pearl District. We loved the Shypoke Eggs, essentially great nachos. Also I loved my Mini Yellow Submarine burger (stuffed cheeseburger with jalapeños). The patty was super flavorful and all the toppings were really fresh and delicious. It was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had.

Went here for a Spurs game and ordered the bacon cheese burger. It had so much bacon! I was able to munch on some bacon, and still had plenty for my burger. The burger was big too, and the tots were great. There was only one server/bartender, but he always made sure my tea was filled. There was no wait for a table and the food came out quick, which is a great for the Pearl.

The burgers are huge and everything came out fresh and fast. The only downside was the service but they were short staffed that day.
