Some of the best food I've had in over 5 years. The manager/or owner was one of the happiest and most helpful people I've met at a restaurant to date.

This is probably seriously one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my entire life! The food was incredible! I should’ve stopped eating about 15 minutes before I did, but it was so good!! Our server Mijan was a professional and made the experience even better! We will be back for sure!

I hosted my hubby’s 50th at New Delhi Restaurant. Working with the owner/ celebrity chef Mr. Ranjan was delightful. He was generous with accommodating our needs and the venue looked even more beautiful with enhanced lights. Food variety included food choices including vegan and gluten free. Highly recommend.

Everyone here is so friendly and attentive. Our waiter was constantly checking on us and refilling our drinks, the owner/manager came to our table to check on us. Butter chicken, rice, and garlic naan were all excellent. Definitely a place worth checking out when you're in the city.

We ordered chef’s tasting menu for two for dinner. The portion is exactly right. We had appetizer with naan, main course (3 curries, a vegan one, a chicken one, and a lamb one) with saffron flavored rice, and flavorful desserts. The chai tea in the end tasted really good. The owner is courteous and waiters were attentive and caring at all times. Recommend this restaurant and its dishes.

I was in San Francisco with my girlfriend looking for an Indian restaurant. We stumbled upon this restaurant, which did not disappoint at all. The facilities were great, the staff was very observant and service minded and the food was fantastic. I can highly recommend this place if you ever come to San Francisco looking for Indian food. Greetings and best wishes from Denmark.

The best. Period. Beautiful atmosphere, adorable staff, and the best Indian food in SF as far as I'm concerned AND at a fair price. Fresh, well seasoned, med heat, not too oily...fabulous house cocktails. I can't tell you how over-the-moon I was to discover they'd weathered the pandemic. Just off Powell without being the TL-TL yet; 2 blocks from SF Playhouse so a perfect before theater eat; easy walk to and from the Muni. And feels like dining out, like ACTUALLY DINING OUT! Indian Food Heaven.

Wonderful! I loved the atmosphere of the place and the food was top notch. We tried several dishes and all were spectacular. I especially want to shout out the chicken Korma. Hands down the best Korma I have ever had. The service was fantastic. We even got to meet the owner who is absolutely lovely. 10 for 10 on everything here!

During my recent trip to New Delhi, I was captivated by the place's historical charm and luxury. From the carved wooden decorative elements to the traditional tableware, the ambiance was definitely upscale. The menus were artfully crafted with a short history of each dish, which added to the experience. My friend and I tried the Balti-style mango prawn, Bombay saffron Bhuna lamb, and rice. Although the food was fresh and well-cooked, it wasn't anything too special, considering the elaborate menu they had. While the service was friendly, our server appeared spread thin. Overall, New Delhi is a great place to host big celebrations in style, but for a more authentic/modern Indian food experience, I would explore other options.
