At the Presidio! Good food reasonable prices the pizza by the slice was wood fired, tasty and $4.50 for the speciality pizza if the day!

I'm hesitant to write this review because I'm not sure I want the world to know about it yet. Yet, it would be a disservice to humanity if I didn't share. The Transit Cafe might have the best burger in the Bay/on the planet. I know, I know. Preposterous, but hear me out: get the burger here.
The individual ingredients themselves-- the bun, lettuce, sun-dried tomatoes, beef, and aioli-- aren't all that noteworthy. However, there's something magical at play here with the medley of ingredients. Your first bite of the burger will reveal a juicy patty, and each subsequent bite will be further proof that this is one of the best constructed burgers you've ever had.
Outdoor seating is fantastic and I've had enjoyed other tasty things here such as:
-cookies (try the ginger or chocolate chip)
-fries
-croissant
-pickles
Overall, this place is a bit pricey but you are in the Presidio 🤷🏻♂️ oh yeah AND you're eating one of the best dang burgers. Get. The. Burger.

Because it is in the Presidio, which beautiful, the food is high quality and the staff is friendly. There is a patio area, clean restrooms and good parking.

Great place to get a quick bite to eat. Good pizza and sandwiches. Nice coffee ☕ selection. Out side seating. Nice staff and very clean. Place is imnaculate clean

I am so used to starbucks, but wanted to give something else a try and they are amazing. I ordered a macchiato and they made it so good. Paired with an amazing, thick onion bagel with cream cheese. Yes!

I had the Impossible Burger and it was absolutely incredible and very tasty with many flavors for a burger that contains no meat. I totally recommend this burger and i will be back very soon!!

I had ordered a simple cheesburger and fries at this little cafe in the transit center. Not thinking much from this place . OMG. The burger was delicious but the seasoned fried were fan fricken tastic. This was my first visit . I want more.

Excellent place to take a break, look at the bridge, look at Alcatraz, and watch boats go by. Nice variety of food and drinks inside the cafe. Highly recommended
