Amazing!!! Les Joulins looks like a small neighborhood restaurant bar that only caught mine and my husband's attention because it was late and they were still serving dinner, and it was near our hotel. It just looks like a neighborhood eatery that could go either way. But oh my goodness, the food was awesome!!! The escargot was some of the best I've had, and the cassoulet maison was delicious!! We couldn't have been more pleased with our dinner selections and the service! The entire staff couldn't have been more polite or friendly! Whenever we make our way back from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we'll definitely be dining here. ❤️❤️❤️!!

Not the best food, not the best drinks, not the best jazz I have ever heard. HOWEVER, something about this place is just fun and I keep going back. The music is often standards but that;s ok! The guys I have seen play have been there for years and will often take requests. Amazing how many songs they know! Try the chocolate cake, very tasty!

Food is French inspired, though pricing is a bit outrageous. $15 minimum per person here, and their wine list, though long, serves mostly by the bottle. Taste-wise, food was decent. Came here with some friends hoping to just have our own happy hour and enjoy some live jazz music, but didn't realize that the live jazz doesn't start until 7:30pm. The place was quit empty at 6pm, but it fills up fast when 7:30pm rolls around. Parking is horrendous here since it's by Powell/Union Square and construction nearby makes driving in the area annoying.

I'd never thought i'll eat in a french restaurant in the USA
But the mood is special whith the orchestra if you are around San Francisco don't hesitate i think you won't be desapointed the food is excelent too, french food ;)
