Ordered the goi cuon (spring rolls) and pho xe lua - both were amazing! Goi cuon had perfect ratio of pork and shrimp with a delicious sauce, and the pho broth was really hearty. The restaurant is also decorated beautifully with flower garlands and lanterns. Will be coming back again!

The Special Combo Noodle Pho is packed with nutrients. Thin cut pieces of meat, noodles and vegetables. Staff do a great job and give generous servings. The Shrimp and Pork Salad Rolls are also filling and delicious.

Great little Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown. Rice paper rolls with scrimp were bursting with fresh ingredients and full of flavour while the rare beed pho with fresh herbs was very tasty and nourishing. Highly recommended.

Went here after waking the streets looking for somewhere to eat. It was busy but they cleared a table for us to sit at. Lots of choice available. We chose Veg Spring Rolls, Beef Chow Fun and 5Spice Chicken. Rolls were delicious as was the ChowFun but the Chicken was quite bland and uninspired. We were serves a pot of hot tea that was free. Very friendly staff who were busy serving constantly. Would go back again and have the soup which was what everyone else seems to be having around us. Those bowls were MASSIVE.
Enjoyed it and would revisit. Excellent value for money.

I have come to this restaurant many times and always impressed me! Everyone is so nice and respectful. I recommend the pho 🍜

Festive lunar New Year decor immediately greets diners upon entry — a novel photo opp in the heart of Chinatown.
The pho checks the box for standard goodness, but doesn’t quite make a 5 of 5. Noodles perfectly cooked, the broth however lacking depth. Still, a good option in the neighborhood when seeking flavors Southeast Asian

great authentic Vietnamese food options for vegetarians in San Francisco!
delicious vegetarian pho noodle soup (#92) with fresh veggies, bok choy, crisp tofu, and i have to mention how gigantic this soup is! get it to go and make it two meals for $13. the broth has a good spice and i even added a little sriracha.
note: pho chay is not under the vegetarian menu section but its #92
i highly recommend #126 also, the crispy vegetarian rolls.
awesome location right in the heart of chinatown. moderately priced for the portion sizes. very nice, humble little dining room with cute plants and decor. quick service with tea on the table when you arrive.
definitely going to get some phò next time I'm sick. can't wait!!!!
edit: went back and ordered 136 Vegetarian Delight and was not blown away. very simple dry noodles with tofu and brocolli. If that’s your thing, its a giant portion! if not, go for the soup instead

Service was pretty slow, interior itself is cool, clean and nice. Food was good enough and affordable. The dish didn’t have much meat. I asked for Vietnamese iced coffee not sweat and got sweet one but it was fine after shaking with ice. The place is good but nothing special

The milk tea was very delicious and also our food. The pho was tasty and a big portion, the noodle dish was great as well, but could have been more. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening and the staff quite stressed, but nevertheless we had a great stay there.

I came here twice in the span of one week and ordered the same thing (Xe Lua with the beef balls). The first time they completely missed the tripe, tendon, and beef balls. I contributed that to me showing up late. I did come in right before closing, which is terrible of me to begin with. However, I felt like they substituted with more meat. The second time I ordered this... they did include the tripe and beef balls! However, the tendons were nowhere to be seen. The broth does not seem consistent when I compared my first and second time. The first bowl was more bland but the second bowl was more sweet and the onion flavor was more prominent. One thing I noticed is that the meat are usually cooked by the time it get to you. The meat is supposed to cook in the broth; however, in other pho restaurants the meat is still red when it comes to you. This isn't really the case here. The bowl is $12 which is on par with Bay Area prices. The Vietnamese coffee is $4.50 which is on par as well. It sucks that you more or less have to expect Bay Area prices but don't let it deter you from trying this place out!
