Cafe Prague is a warm and inviting restaurant with an Eastern European menu. Never having visited that region, I will take their word for it. It sure looks like I imagine a restaurant would look in Prague. Anyway, we were treated wonderfully, our dinner was paced nicely. I had a stew with potatoes and loved it. I look forward to more visits here.

Really great Czech cuisine! We were here twice and the food was delicious everytime. Especially the “segedin goulash” was brilliant!
Highly recommend when you re in SF. Taste it. You ll love it! Definitely!
Btw the Pilsner (Plzen) fits the food amazingly ;)

A true bohemian gem in the heart of the financial district. Boasting plus sized liters of Czech brew and traditional dishes. Sit inside or out and gaze at the Transamerica pyramid whilst enjoying a frosty brew at happy hour.

Have been wanting to try this place for a long time. Went for lunch today and the experience DID NOT let me down one bit. Tried the paprika goulash with dumplings and loved every bite of it. A very hearty portion size as well. Will most definitely be going back and trying out some other mouthwatering menu items I drooled over.

Cafe Prague transports me back to Prague when I step inside and see the decor and eat their food which is very good. They have friendly waitresses and good service. I like the background music; one time it was Sinatra-era, another 60's rock, always different and not so loud you can't talk easily. Go, for some good food and European charm.

Turkey, prosciutto and brie sandwich is tasty! I had the black bean soup on the side, it was slightly cold but still good. Nice decor. On an alley street so away from the financial district hustle and bustle.

Eastern European fare in an authentic setting - beer on tap, no hefeweizen though! Loud on a Friday evening. It was good to see young children - one would expect that in Europe... It made the atmosphere somewhat authentic!
Hint: after 6pm Street parking is free and this same block on Washington Street has head in diagonal parking... Good odds! Enjoy!

A pub-decorated restaurant with a Central European and Italian inspired fare. We got the roasted duck (authentic and very tasty), strudel (ok) and split pea soup (tasty). Some menu items were of questionable inspiration, but it was nice to see meals that at least resembled the motherland. Our server didn't speak Czech, but she was actually from Italy and she was extremely nice. Don't expect much of pure Czech fare, but otherwise, this place is surely worth trying.
