Great lunch option. Very fresh ingredients and interesting salad styles. I got the kale base w curry style and chicken, but would probably try another flavor next time as I did not like this one that much. Huge portions, fair pricing! Staff is very kind and peppy; they seem to have a lot of regulars.

A really wonderful spot tucked away off California Street! I enjoyed building my own salad bowl. They have plenty of topping options and protein choices for omnivores and vegetarians alike. I've tried the California Curry and River Market salads, and they were both flavorful and fresh. The sandwiches also look delicious and are pretty large. They are open for takeout and online ordering during COVID. They even have some tables and chairs to sit at on Leidesdorff (the alleyway). When I went they had hand sanitizer out, which was nice to see. Give them a visit if you're in the area!

So many great options! Not a huge salad person but loved the salad options and actually had an amazing salad! They are decently priced too ! Really really quick service. There was a line out the door but it only took. About 10 minutes to get through and the food was ready almost immediately. Cute little alley seating as well

The first time I went here, I got a salad with the "Locally Rooted" toppings and veggie loaf. This was back when it first opened, so I don't remember the details except that I liked it and it was a very generous portion. I went back today and was not as pleased with my food. I got a quinoa bowl with the California curry toppings and no protein because the last time had been too much food. The "harissa cauliflower-chickpeas" didn't have any chickpeas in them, and there was not enough curry dressing, so I ended up with a pile of plain quinoa at the bottom of my bowl. I liked the flavors of the harissa and the curry dressing, but the mix of artichokes, broccoli, and tomatoes didn't work for me. I'm leaving four stars because my first experience was good and I still like the flavors, but I think the recipes and proportions need tweaking.
