Had the best date night! Felt completely COVID safe and the service was very good. Highly recommend their croquette - so good with some cold sake.

Love the feel of the small restaurant. Lots of small plate grilled options. Bring lots of friends so you can share more!

Great food and atmosphere. They have limited covid-safe indoor seating, and outdoor seating with heat lamps. Best to make a reservation.

Somewhat disappointed given the positive reviews, perhaps we ordered on a bad day Ramen: ordered two. There was waaay too much pepper in ours. Literally the broth was overwhelmed with ground pepper. Seasoned heavier than a steak. Chunks of noodles were clumped together (not fresh?). Egg was good. The beef tongue skewer was good, karaage was also good. The bacon mochi - it definitely looked and tasted more like a Korean rice cake wrapped in bacon vs mochi wrapped in bacon.

Grilled Sea Bass and Squid were good. Ramen was ok--broth was tasty; noodles needed a but more chewiness; egg was slightly overcooked; braised pork belly had nice texture, but needed more flavor.

I ordered for delivery online and it went really well. I got my food and the taste is decent. I don't mind being shelter in place with this service.

We arrived at around 5:40 PM on Wednesday and there was no wait. Small and cozy environ, and remarkable food. We liked the tonkotsu ramen with its rich-flavored soup (though the added pork belly was not that tender), and judging from the beef tongue yakitori, we believe that all the skewers should be nice. The real showdown came with the CHAZUKE - highly recommended! The fish is always on a seasonal rotation; the makerel offered that night was ume-shiso flavored (if I'm correct) - so tasty that reminded me of one extraordinary makerel sushi I once had in Kyoto. My only little complaint would be about the service - there did not seem to be enough waiters/waitresses at that time. . . . IG: phootopia19
