New management 21st December 2025. Food portions are very small. £60 takeaway failed to feed 4 people. Shame as we have ordered takeaway and visited the restaurant on numerous occasions over the year. When I called to complain I was told there was nothing they could do as the new owners determine portion size. Won’t be using again.

New management, new chef, prices up, portions tiny, food is awful. One dish completely inedible - sent back and refused to pay for it. This was our favourite restaurant for years. We’ll never return. RIP Orient. Waiters were lovely though. I fear they won’t have a job there soon. I can’t imagine this place will last.

I had the chicken pad thai which was delicious. We shared crispy duck pancakes. Service was good. Restaurant was clean and warm. Would be good if they did delivery. There is free parking to the rear. Accessible for wheelchairs.

We had a fantastic family meal at the Orient. The staff made a real fuss of my BIL as it was his birthday & they brought out a lovely dessert, with a candle & the restaurant sang happy birthday. All of the food was delicious, the service was great & it was lovely to see the restaurant so busy.
