Very good pub in a good location close to the canal. Food is typical pub grub food, the pieminster pies are fabulous and well worth the price. Nice well kept pint of San Miguel at a decent price. Landlord and landlady very friendly and …
Great, traditional English Pub with quite a nice pint, served by friendly staff & an ever-smiling Landlady. Highly recommended. Very handy for Wheelock Wharf moorings and dog friendly.
Nice pub near to the canal. Beer garden is great, it has a kids play area and pool table. Prices are reasonable. Toilet facilities are excellent. Local beers available. Didn't have food but the menu looked ok.
Didn’t have food, but the beer garden was lovely and relaxing. They have bands on and quiz nights, we’ll definitely be going back.
Great food, great atmosphere and very good beer selection
Cheshire Cheese rebranded as a Hickory Smokehouse in November '18.
We went for my other Half's birthday with friends and it was a great night.
Brilliant decor, great music and friendly staff. All very authentic.
DELICIOUS FOOD, amazing night and can't wait to go.
