This is my local market and it's going from strength to strength with an eclectic mix of stalls and products including crafts, collectables and a cafe.

Nice market with several stalls with a mixed variety of goods. First time we've been in a long time due to covid and a lot of outside stalls gone.
Nice town for a walk around and a coffee but traffic was manic in the centre.

Market day is on Thursdays when it is allowed after lockdown. The sweetie/card stall and butchers at the front were open. I frequently buy great, reasonably priced cards from the stall.
Just to say that I remember the market in its hey day with the whole Common covered with a variety of stalls, instead of cars, and coach trips coming in from surrounding areas bringing in lots of people, those were the days....

Very few traditional markets and market halls left nowadays sadly, however Sandbach market is one of the few to survive. Mostly held on Saturday as well as one day in the week its lovely to see food quality is good, and the whole thing is a pleasure to take in we need to keep the markets going so please go and take a look and maybe treat yourself from a cardigan to a pound of sausages.

Great small market where you can get most of your groceries, pies lovely free range eggs and clothes ,plus household ware. Friendly chatty atmosphere with plenty of banter. I love strolling around.
