Shaz Balti

Don’t usually do (positive) reviews as I like to be grumpy and complain. I’ve tried quite a few Indian takeaways around Sandbach, Middlewich and Holmes Chapel and they tend to weak and bland. Probably as quality ingredients cost money. I was blown away with the Jalfrezi and Madras this evening. Can’t remember the last time I had a curry this good. What I particularly liked is that Shaz Balti have a small selection of curries. Other takeaways blast you with 50+ variations of curries and chefs specials, all of which taste similarly bland. Full credit to the chefs and staff. 👍 Just hope they can keep making this food as I can’t go back to other substandard takeaways.

Just finished my first ever meal ordered from Shaz Balti. Absolutely beautiful! All of it was cooked to perfection, I was so full but did not want to stop eating. The young lad behind the counter is spot on he's so nice. I have most definitely found my new favourite takeaway and can't wait for my next already.

Been using shaz balti for years when they were in Holmes chapel, great to see them back with a new twist. Smaller menu featuring meal boxes, I wish the bars and pubs were open as this would be cracking after a few drinks in town 👌🏻 Had the meal box with madras curry, pilau rice, fried lentil balls, meat samosa and salad with their mint sauce (epic sauce same recipe as the old place) Everything very nice and fresh loved it, if I was to offer some improvement it would be that there are green chillis in all the dishes even the salad, so it can be overpowering (and I like it hot) So maybe chill out on them Can’t wait to come back!

Had my first of many from here tonight! Very quick service, no waiting around whatsoever. Polite and friendly staff, the owner has clearly made the effort to design a nice interior too. The food was immense. The chicken was cooked perfectly, so tender. The mint sauce was to die for. Without doubt, the best Asian style cuisine I’ve had in my life. Really good portion sizes too and I’m no small eater. Quality place. Heard great things already and it proved itself tonight. Will be a regular from now on. Fantastic local business ran by people who care for their community!! Thanks Shaz!
