We only stopped for a quick coffee but would totally recommend sitting down here for more than that if the food is just as amazing as the coffee.
We found it that the coffee they used is a blend of their own beans and would have bought a bag if they weren’t so expensive.
Will definitely go there again !
Will be back. Great ambience, great staff and food was awesome. Home made potato salad is something else and sarnies and cakes were really tasty. Decor was original and quirky and all in all just a great cafe. Really glad we visited and will be back, keep up the great work
I didn't eat, but my company did & they said it was great! Wonderful service, amazing coffee & a great atmosphere. Everyone seemed to talk to me as the atmosphere was very relaxing.
Love coming here for coffee and cake or brunch. Room for prams. Make sure you book as its popular. Great staff, friendly and accommodating. Find the place a little cold though in spring, could do with some heating on or wear some layers.
A welcoming Sandgate drop-in run by hard-working and charming young staff. Though facing the main road rather than the sea, Loaf is a reliable and very popular local breakfast, coffee rendezvous, appreciated by the stream of local regulars queuing. Delicious sourdough bread and fresh orange juice are great indicators of quality. Just moved here, we'll become local regulars soonest!
Lovely little cafe, friendly service personell, and delicious cake! I can especially recommend the „Sticky Toffee“ cake, and the „Mint Crusher“ drink.
We enjoyed really fresh and tasty cakes and longdrinks, with very friendly personal. We will taste it again!
Lovely little café on Sand gate high Street. This is perfect for a quick coffee, a long coffee, a working lunch or even somewhere to meet friends for lunch. The service is great with very friendly staff and the food is seasonal, fresh and generally locally sourced. They bake a lot too and have some very delicious local coffee available too! Hugely recommend this place.
Lovely cafe with great food. Their menu is a little limited though, but what they have is great. I had one of the specials - a waffle - and it was truly special.
Always come back to this place when we are at Sandgate, coffee and cakes are very nice. It has a great choice of food and a very friendly host 😊
