We came specifically for the renown Sunday Roast and were not disappointed. Our reserved table was just getting set so we had time to look around. Quaint ambiance, I personally did not care for the plastic white and purple hanging floral decor. Very pleasant attentive staff served us beer and cider, then the very delicious traditional roast with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish, vegies and cheese cauliflower, nut roast, halloumi burger and macaroni cheese. Hubby and I chose the smaller portion of the roast, still more than sufficient. A truly memorable Sunday lunch for sure. It was too cold to sit outside, during warm weather it must be lovely. Free parking tight, but available.

A very rare 5 star review across the board! Liver, tricky to perfect, was beautifully cooked with a divine sauce. Lasagna, often a meh, was delicious with deep rich flavours of sun dried tomatoes. Prices for both food and wines are very reasonable. Insider tip, to save a few ££, some of the dishes are served as smaller portions, which are still a good size, and allows you to save room for the fabulous deserts. We sampled warm chocolate fudge brownie with local ice-cream, however the star of this show was the sprinkles of home made honeycomb.

Took my Wife here for her birthday, wow what an incredible place. Amazing staff who were very attentive, food 10/10 just couldn’t fault it, very tasty and generous size portions too. Overall 5 star meal with amazing staff. Thank you so much, you made our evening and it was the perfect ending to a brilliant day. We shall be back every time we come to the Isle of Wight

27.8.2023, this is our third roast at the Yarbridge and it’s definitely our go-to pub for a great Sunday lunch on the Island, BUT you must book as it’s really popular. Staff are fantastic, prices are fair and portions are a decent size, what’s not to like…?

It's a little quirkey place with plastic plants and flowers everywhere, including the ceiling. There are plenty of string lights, too. The server was welcoming and polite. Unfortunately, I found my tuna fish cake tasteless on its own, but okay with the jalapeño salsa. The others enjoyed their meal.

We visited this lovely family pub/restaurant recently and have to say we were VERY impressed. Lovely welcome when we arrived, and drinks order taken promptly. The food I have to say was incredible. Presentation was great, decent portion sizes, and absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of love goes into it. The whole team were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning!

What a lovely place! Very pretty with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were warm and friendly. The food was superb 👌 The steak & Stilton pie had large chunks of tender tasty meat. The sausage & mash was delicious, and the sea bass was cooked to perfection. For dessert, the chocolate fudge & ice cream went down well. The cheese board was also superb. Would definitely recommend this pub 👍

During my travels, I’ve always had a keen interest and supporter of family operated business, especially with restaurants. And this is yet another one. We arrived at 11am which they were officially opened but we knew they would only start lunch from 12pm. The staff was very accommodating and made the wait and dinning experience enjoyable. Lovely decor which resembled a family and cosy environment. Oh yes, the food was just amazing!! Well priced and really good portions. From breads to states to mains and through to desert! Make sure you book as it’s a popular local place.

What a lovely find. Staff were very friendly and service was perfect. Food was really gorgeous and generous portions. Chose to sit outside but could have been accommodated inside even though we hadn't booked. Would definitely go back. Liver and bacon was cooked perfectly and my fish was huge.
