Had a pizza making party for my daughters birthday today and I cannot thank them enough. The chef and front of house staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Didn't catch her name but the dark haired waitress in particular went out of her way to make sure everything was all perfect and really was a super star! Would definitely recommend and would definately book again! Thank you all!
Steak I had tonight was absolutely amazing, best I've had in a long time. Food came really quickly and was hot, my child's meal was a great size he is 19 months and only left a few chips! The staff were really polite and helpful even though you could tell they were short staffed, but this didn't affect us at all. A nice pub to relax and have a drink and all the music played was motown which is my favourite, so this turned out to be a great place to spend my birthday. Thankyou, will definitely recommend
Excellent service and the food was just as good. We had the Sunday roast and all 3, turkey, lamb and beef, were cooked perfectly. Sticky toffee pudding was exceptional too. Very friendly servers, quick service and great atmosphere!
Nice cozy pub close to beach in Sandown. Had a good food menu with vegeterian options too. You order you food and drinks at the bar. Attendants were very quick and helpful. Food was good and the portion size was good enough for a dinner after a sunny sea dip. Cocktails were nice and pretty new.
Overall a good to go if you visiting Sandown and you dont have a preference of sea facing dining.
Their cheesy chips are just the best! Pizza was also nice 😋🍕 Have been here a few times & would definitely recommend visiting. Lovely garden with lots of seating & things for kids to do. Inside also plenty of seats, lots of drink choices & staff super friendly & helpful ☺️
This is one of the best family friendly pubs/restaurants I’ve come across, including on the mainland.
The food has always been lovely and the garden is made for families with plenty for kids to do. The indoor play area is small but perfect for keeping toddlers occupied.
With the app the deals are fantastic also, just another reason why this is one of our favourite places to eat.
Great dog friendly pub. Made to feel very welcome. Food looked amazing but early in the day when we visited so only had drinks.
Came to the island with my kids and was advised to eat here due to the play area. Such a great venue , great priced food and drinks, chefs specials available. Handy location and great place to eat after a day at the beach. Food did take a little while to arrive but this was fine as the kids were having fun. When our food did arrive there was a slight issue of the starters coming out at the same times as our mains, however this was rectified by the staff immediately and they apologised profusely. Portions were of decent size. I was slightly surprised how early they wanted to shut in the evenings, despite that I would definitely recommend.
Good food, great place for kids, relaxed dining and good service. Highly recommended for families with young children.
Very friendly staff, we had the fish and chips it was delicious. Even though the pub was absolutely packed, we only waited 10 minutes for our food. Great play area for children nice garden, small parking area, but definitely recommended.
Lovely place, would like to say that maddie the young waitress was brilliant, very kind and polite, nothing was an issue. She was constantly busy and always happy to help.
Lovely pub. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Great value Amazing fish pie of the specials board. Good size beer garden with some play equipment for kids a pool table and mini arcade. It gets pretty busy but not surprised. Would of got 5 stars can't give half stars either. but I only got 1 waffle with my desert rather than the stated 2 in the desert description.
