We found this place by chance and we’re luckily thrilled with the visit. We eat strictly vegetarian and spoke to the attendant in advance. The food was freshly prepared and excellent quality and very tasty. The naan bread were very soft and warm. Lot of parking at rear of restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place to any travellers.

Absolutely fabulous food, service very polite, a little wait for food to be ready, but worth the wait and served very hot. One little thing that did let it down, was we chose not to take any alcohol with us and was happy to buy there soft drinks, but they was quite expensive for a glass a lemonade which was not chilled, and quite warm which melted the ice immediately. So to be perfect please chill your soft drinks no one likes warm pop.

We were in Isle of Wight for about a week and ate from Bay Leaf four times. Tasty food, cooked with fresh ingredients, right amount of right spices and portions in sufficient quantity. Waiting for take away order was roughly 45 minutes but the taste and quality made the wait worth it. We also dined in once, and eating it hot from kitchen was so flavorsome good. Keep up the good work, chaps :)

I've been to Bay Leaf 4 times now and every time the food as been delicious. The stand out dish for me was the Gujarati, I've tried both the lamb and the chicken and it tastes amazing, but to be honest all the dishes here are. The portion sizes are generous. The staff are very friendly. You can bring your own alcohol. Altogether one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to.

We had a takeaway last Friday evening, only waited 15 minutes. Staff were nice. Food was hot, fresh with large pieces of chicken. Saag allo had plenty of spinach.
We will be returning.

A very busy restaurant on the the night we visited. The service and food were excellent all round. We enjoyed not being rushed at all and everything was very tasty, one of the best curry's I have in a long time. No frills, bring your own booze, basic settings but a really enjoyable experience. Tesco down the road had chilled cobra beer on offer which was nice :)
