I often fly into Sandown Airport and walk into Sandown for lunch at the Driftwood. Always friendly staff and whilst there is sometimes a bit of a wait, as it is so popular, the food is always great (especially their fish and chips). Excellent beach cafe. Serves all different types of food. Decent portions, great selection of drinks. Kids can play on the beach right below the outdoor decking area. Fab at sunset for some sundowners. Seems like it might be a bit of an institution during high season, with t shirts etc for sale.
