Just park for half an hour, because we wanted to have a quick look around. The shop was good and selling lots of lovely and interesting plants.
Looking for cicyle rides, got a map. Will be back.
To try it out.
An excellent restaurant with friendly attentive staff and lovely food. Set in a nice airy room within the Sandringham Estate visitor centre. And all at very good prices too.
Plus, they do a takeaway afternoon tea (must be booked) which is superb. These are in addition to the dine in option which again must be booked (several days) in advance.
We had tea and scone after visiting the house and garden and a takeaway afternoon tea another day.
Absolutely perfect. If you are in Norfolk, this is the best place to relax and have a lovely meal. Everything is nicely presented and cooked to perfection. Also, very reasonably priced. This restaurant is better than any place we have dined in Norfolk.
What an amazing area. The building is simply beautiful, we would highly recommend paying the restaurant a visit if you're spending the day at Sandringham.
Experienced servers, were courteous and respectful, and all experienced staff have great people skills and for that it needs commending.
There was one staff member one can only assume that it's her first job, clattering plates, screaming out loud in front of customers at the presence of wasps.
Also a party of 18 arrived after us, we were assured we would be served before the party, this didn't happen, when we asked the inexperienced waitress where the food was her reply was ,"that's a shame isn't it".
When paying we relayed this to the more senior members of staff, and drinks were subtracted.
Only recommendation is to further train the staff member.
Everything else was top tier, I had the trio of burgers, beef, lamb, and venison, well done kitchen staff.
Thank you all so much for a great meal. Great prices!
We will return.
We only went round the grounds and the shops. Lovely place to walk around with big trees everywhere. We had a coffee a cake at the shop, the coffee was nice and hot but my Victoria Sponge slice was a bit frozen in the middle but still enjoyable.
Delightful restaurant with a delicious menu. Lovely vibe with great China and live plants. We had the lamb curry which was mind blowing. But all the food looked amazing to be fair, including the afternoon tea and scones. Fair prices too.
Expensive but pretty good coffee and scones. Very nice outdoor seating area with a roosting pigeon for company. What did really annoy me was some machine making an insanely loud noise for a few minutes every few minutes. Not sure what it was but it was very unpleasant and not relaxing to listen to while trying to drink and eat. Some kind of air con or generator unit.
Massive serving, great atmosphere and good service.
Typical royal estate service, cleanliness, quality and not overly priced for what you get with the Afternoon Tea package. We need some dietary changes, which were freely provided.
A wonderful place to sit, enjoy great food, perfect service a wonderful place,
