Visited the Drill Hall today and had the best pizza I ever tasted! Really good value also considering the quality of the fresh ingredients that are clearly used. Scrummy gelato for dessert as well. Lovely chilled atmosphere, can't recommend it highly enough. Hats off to the all the staff involved �

Great place to grab a casual pizza sitting on rattan furniture with fairy lights everywhere. Lovely little sofa children's area with games to keep them entertained -fast and friendly service.
Acoustics are super tricky if more than 2 of you unless you sit on the benches as the tables are just huge so you can't actually hear anyone say opposite you but if a large group who like to chat then sit on the benches.
Pizza is beautifully fresh and very tasty.

From the outside this place looks really good, in keeping with sandwiches old worldly feel. Once inside the false ceiling are a little disappointing, also although the garden furniture and parasols are quirky don't think they are needed and makes it feel much darker. Now the ice creams were top notch, especially the sorbetto. If you are I tolerant to dairy you have to try these, you can hardly tell the difference. The staff are super friendly and had a lovely time there.
The best pizza I've had outside of Italy. Gluten Free options are incredible. Kind and friendly staff 💯
Edit: The Drill Hall has become a regular haunt of mine, most recently hosting my Neice's birthday. 14 guests aswell as other tables being booked and not a single problem. The Staff couldn't have done a better job, the food was incredible as always and for the drinkers they have a wide variety of beers, wines and spirits including every Gin known to man.

Wow! Everything was superb. Homemade hand stretched dough good quality ingredients generous portions. Best gluten free pizza I've ever had. And I've always struggled eating out being allergic to gluten but this place nailed it, the sourdough was slightly chewy light and crispy on the edges and the seafood toppings were divine. My partner ordered normal wheat based pizza and was really impressed. Superb and fast service excellent homemade gelato will definitely return..
I Had the special of the day, pizza with rucola and burrata which was the best pizza I’ve had outside Italy. Members of my party had different pizzas which they were also raving about!!
Unfortunately it was busy and we had to wait quite a while for our pizzas ( not sure if ‘take away pizzas were given priority?) The waitress was very polite and friendly which is why I still gave it 5 stars.
I did not like the plastic (compostable)cutlery and feel decent cutlery is needed.
Overal a great place and would definitely recommend.

Great pizza. It was very busy when we visited as it was a sunny Sunday so we had to wait 30 minutes for our pizza. This was not a problem for us.
Excellent sourdough pizza! Beautifully cooked at very reasonable prices. Freshly baked in an open wood fire oven. Eco friendly. Great service and friendly staff.
