We eat here like once a month, or try to. It’s always delicious and most the chefs have a great sense of humor. My kids love the show and for the price the food is AMAZING.

We loved this restaurant! We came for my daughter’s birthday and she definitely had a great time. The whole vibe was very laid back and enjoyable! The food was awesome, so delicious!! My husband’s steak was honestly the most tender steak I’ve ever had! And the scallops were so tender and yummy. Our cook was awesome and made the kids laugh! The reason for 4 stars is because after our cook was done and left the hibachi, our waitress came and immediately asked us if we wanted boxes. So we felt like just after all our food was done she was trying to push us out. I didn’t like that. Otherwise, she was very attentive about picking up dirty dishes and garbage, and refilling our drinks. We will return!

A lot like Benihana's but not quite as good. The soup and salad are similar but not as good. The chefs are great though and super interactive, especially with the kids! Onion trains and little fires, flipping shrimp into your mouth. It's a good time for sure. There are kid specials that are pretty reasonable, like $12-18 I think. The adult prices are very similar to Benihana,$15-$60 ish. Soft drinks are $4 a pop. They don't do the chicken rice like they do at BH but the fried rice is really good too. I do like to take the kids here though for that reason (a little cheaper). The service is usually really good. The best times to go are a little bit before the dinner rush and on week days. I have been some weekends and it is an hour and a half wait often times. The kids meals do come with ice cream for dessert which they always look forward to. We usually get the chicken & shrimp or the steak & shrimp. All in all a nice little place to take the kids. If you want just a little bit better I would recommend Benihana's. But if your looking for a little bit cheaper option that is still pretty good then you can't go wrong here😁 we probably come here more often than we go to BH. No sushi at Bonsai btw

The food is always excellent, but the portions are a bit smaller than similar establishments. But we come here for the better quality and better service. They are always accommodating for large parties and the chefs always put on a fun show.

Went for friends birthday (but mostly for the Sake)! Get the sweet flavored sake, and make sure it’s the cold one, that’s the best one they serve. Large meals, you can split a single order but we bought 2 full meals, because who doesn’t like Bonsai leftovers?! Definitely even more fun going to dine here for your birthday!

Fun atmosphere, chefs prepare food on the grill in front of each table. The food was seasoned with sweet/salty sauces that was pretty overpowering. I would ask for light sauce if you’re sensitive to salt or sugar. The quality of the meat was great too, so it was a bummer it was hidden by an explosion of flavor. Overall very satisfied, just go easy on the sauce!

We were starving when we arrived and unfortunately we had to wait about 20 minutes, but let me tell you it was worth the wait! The host staff and the service was stellar. The food and the show was on point and entertaining! We’ve always loved this place and will continue to return!

Great food. A good bit better quality and taste than your average Teppan grill style. The prices were a bit lower than the typical Japanese Steakhouse too. They have a lot of grill stations and seem to run a very efficient process. We only waited 15 minutes at 7:00pm on a Friday night. The service was fast and responsive. We never had to ask for a refill of our drinks. The manager was also very friendly.

Always busy, come expecting a long wait. Food is really good, great experience. Definitely worth it. Expect $30/person at least after tax/tip.

I’ve never been to a Japanese Steakhouse before. Last night my coworkers and I went for dinner. I was so pleased with the service, the chef was amazing, and the food…words can’t express how good it was. I was so impressed. They don’t take reservations but I had called and put our name on the list (18,) once everyone was there we were seated and they had the table ready for us before we arrived. They had 2 U shaped tables that sat us all comfortably which allowed us to interact with each other . The chefs interacted with everyone and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. I’ll definitely go back.
