Rumbi Island Grill

Rumbi's Island Grill. The name is catchy, but don't let that fool you or scare you away. their food is top-notch, a ton of flavor, There Tempura Shrimp is the real deal and worth the price. Sweet potato fries are spot on and actually taste like a sweet potato. If you make sweet potato fries, why would they not taste like a sweet potato.... Right!!... believe me, many restaurants miss the mark, not Rumbi's. I have eaten at all of the Rumbi's along the Wasatch Front, and the owners have made sure you get the same great food at every establishment. Kudos to you, Rumbi's. The service was a 4 because some team members have had a bad day.

I've been to many Rumbi's in Utah but this one specifically is my favorite. The girl helping me, Bry, has an immaculate energy that turned my gloomy day into a sunshine. I ordered the black volcano salmon with brown rice. She asked if I wanted any modifications, drinks or desert. she always had a smile on her face and honestly I would drive 20 mins to this location rather than going to another rumbi's. Not only is the food good but the staff is very nice.

There was a kinda long line but I totally understand why it was busy! 10+ people ahead taken care of efficiently with us paying in less than 18 min of arrival. The attendant Bryton was super nice, got my order with all my modifications right without me having to repeat myself. Our booth was clean, food arrived fast, and tasted great. A genuinely all-around positive experience here.

I havent really eaten at rumbi before but decided to try it and i was pleasantly surprised. Bottom line - the food was fresh and tasty. As everyone knows the food could be great but if the service aint there, then i would not go back. The staff was so friendly though. An employee by the name of Bryton, was helpful and explained some of the menu too me. great smile. Its just nice to feel welcome and comfortable when going out to eat. Thanks!!

We probably visit this Rumbi at least every other month. Staff is exceptionally friendly, service is great, food is delicious. We do both takeout and dine in, and have never had a problem with either. Portion sizes are generous, and food quality is great. Love the double sauce amounts, that is a good bonus too. (Keep mailing coupons, they work to get us in!)

I only gave it a 4 because I ordered the voodoo salad they only give a quarter piece of small pitta when it used to be bigger, so that was extremely sad. and it was not even half full with Lettuce. When you pay 16 or more dollars for something, it should be a really good portion. If it were over half full of lettuce, then it would have been so amazing that I just got jipped. The staff were very nice and the place was clean.
