The sushi was good. The part of the salmon they served (the cut) was different than what I am used to when I order salmon nigiri. The salmon cut had the gray fatty part on it. I don’t like the gray fatty part on my salmon nigiri.

Had an absolutely amazing experience here! The sushi was wonderfully made and had a great flavor. The mango salad was a perfect starter. Great service and great recommendations. The atmosphere is also very calm and quiet.

One of the best sushi restaurant in the SLC area. With the new chef, it's even better now, and the service got better too! Highly recommended, and must try the chef's choice sushi rolls

I highly recommend the lamb chops entree. Surprisingly affordable, delicious, and high class. Other dishes that I ordered were the Rainbow roll and Salt Lake City roll.

This is our new favorite sushi joint! What incredible ambiance, amazing sushi and the best customer service. This place has seen some seriously fantastic changes to the menu, both to the rolls and to the sake menu! The Snow White was my personal favorite new addition. We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely fantastic meal! We started with the oyster shooters, Hiramasa Carpaccio and the brussel sprouts, all 3 were phenomenal. We then had the chef's choice nigiri plate that had tuna, salmon, fluke, mackerel, and their house marinated Ikura, the salmon and Ikura were some of the best I've ever had and the rest were all delicious and crazy fresh as well. We then had a few of their Kushiyaki(grilled and skewered) items, we tried the pork belly, tsukune, and shiitake. They each came with a small bit of condiment that complimented the flavors of the items perfectly, the tsukune was my personal favorite, but they were all so good it was hard to choose. We then had a couple rolls to finish off our meal, we tried the Brooklyn roll and the Shogun roll. Both were delicious and had very well balanced and inventive flavor profiles. The whole dinner was a great experience and we will definitely be back soon to try all the rest of the menu that we didn't have the room to try this visit.

I happen to work in the same building as Blue Marlin, so I've been anxiously awaiting the opening. It's been open about a month, and I decided to pop downstairs today. Even though it was pretty prime lunch time (12:30), I was seated fast, and there were only 3 other tables that were full. The waiter checked on me quickly and was incredibly nice and helpful recommending a couple of rolls. I ordered the Brooklynn and the Wall Street. I enjoyed them both, but I didn't realize they both had lime slices on them (which I'm not always a huge fan of). I'd order the Wall Street again for sure. Rolls came fast and the fish was great quality. Prices were a bit expensive, so I'm not sure I'd order two rolls next time (I wish they did a happy hour), but I'll be back. The standout was definitely the service and amazing soy sauce (that they make). I could probably drink that stuff.

Our party of eight really enjoyed this place. We ordered almost all of the sushi rolls they served to share and liked all of them. Our favorites were Wall Street, Shenano, temple and Tokyo rose. The service was great-very friendly and refilled our water cups in a very timely manner. We also really liked the gyoza and the Brussels sprouts. The walls change colors and the vibes are great. I would definitely come here again or recommend this as a great place to eat.
