We had to go quickly, and were worried about having enough time because of an appointment. The server went out of her way to get us our food and check fast, and we had plenty of time to eat! The gluten-free pancakes were amazing!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The original pancake house in Sandy is incredible. The food is always good and fresh and the staff is really nice.
The only downside is the wait. When I go with a party of 2 there’s very little wait, but for larger parties you’ll be there a while. I put my party on the waitlist and was told our table would be ready at 11 (would be 30 minutes from when I checked in.) 11 came and went so I asked for an update and was told it would be another 25 minutes. I get it these things happen. At 11:30 I asked for another update and was told another 25 minutes. Our party was sat at 12:05.
The wait is fairly understandable though. We had a large group and this is a really great breakfast place on a Sunday morning, of course it will be busy. I just wish their online check in and wait system was a bit more accurate.

Holy cow, if I had to choose my last meal I would ask for their menu! It was packed but they got me and my boy in right away. We actually got our food quickly. Everything we got was delicious. The waitress was very kind and attended us well.

Our server Jennifer was absolutely amazing. Seriously the best waitress we’ve had in years. The food was great as always. Please recognize Jennifer. She was quick with the refills and was so polite to our children.

They never get my food right . But hey what can you do. It’s not terrible and that is really what I look for in a place that I eat at. I do enjoy the omelets and the Dutch baby pancakes but the bacon is always a little darker than I like it to be but the experience is decent.

Always a must stop when I am in SLC, either the Sugarhouse or Sandy location. Stepped out of my comfort zone today, always order the Swedish pancakes with lingonberries, almost as good as my Mom used to make. Had the western omelette today, really good!!! They cook their omelettes in the oven that makes them light and fluffy.

A little busy on a Sunday morning/noon. But I like this place better than penny Ann’s cafe. This place felt cleaner, nicer, and the menu was more concrete. Overall I would come back- maybe on a less popular timeline- since it was a bit stuffy. They have a nice selection for toddlers, we liked the pancakes with fruit for our 2 year old.

We 6 enjoyed a brunch here and came especially for gluten free pancakes. The bacon ones rocked! We Also got choc chip, blueberry and sourdough. They were all amazing. Got sausage and bacon and omelettes and poached, fried and scrambled eggs, fruit, whipped butter and cream and hash and it all came just right. The food comes with so many options if you want and at the same time it is simple. Try the syrups and be adventurous if you feel it cause the special pancakes and waffles are a wonderful surprise. Our server was amazing. We will update with her name soon.
