Sizzler

Food is sizzler food. No surprises. I don't know why the fried chicken is by the ice cream.definitely order food as in an entree , if you want some real food. Servers are the highlight for me . I was so impressed with how kind all of the servers were . Give every server and also back-of-the-house worker a raise, they all deserve it.

Over the years sizzle has been real hit or miss for me. Often times the food seems very bland, especially for the price, which just seems to keep growing. There are some things that are consistently good, most of which are on the salad bar. All that being said, this sizzle really surprised me. We were out for mother's day and the food and service was exquisite. I don't know what they changed since the last time I was there, but the steak was luscious, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. The lobster tail, supposedly 5 oz, seemed a bit on the small side, but it to was cooked and seasoned very well, and, as always, the salad bar, while small, had plenty of great options to round out my meal. Price wise it wasn't cheap, coming in around $30 a person. Like I said, normally I would have balked at that price, but the food this time almost justified the expense, and of course it was mother's day, so we sucked it up, enjoyed the meal and paid. Most of the time I wouldn't recommend Sizzler, especially since they stopped serving their rolls and honey butter, but based on this last experience I'll definitely give them another shot

The food was great and the price was good. The staff however seemed to be a bit scattered. The cashier seemed a bit distracted when taking my order and we rarely saw our server for refills. But they were friendly. I ordered the giant shrimp and steak (medium well) with rice pilaf and it was delicious.

Aug 2022: covid-19 seems to have faded. So we went to eat tonight at sizzler. The food was very good. We had the steak and all you can eat shrimp. I think this was the best food I have eaten in my life. The shrimp were small but the breading on them had a great flavor. The steak was cooked perfect and the salad bar was very clean and filled. Our server was named Maria and she was wonderful in taking care of us. Kudos to sizzler management for hiring such a great employee! It's Nov 2020. Covid19 is impacting everything. I have been to this sizzler a few times recently and it is super clean, the staff are all masked and the social distancing is being observed. I enjoyed a very awesome meal. It had steak with mushrooms and onions, Malibu chicken, giant shrimp, baked potato, and awesome fresh salad bar. The manager is very customer-oriented and invited me back for veterans Day meal. I think this is one of the best places to eat in the Salt Lake valley. Server was awesome! I love this place! Older review: Just got back into town and was really craving a steak. I went there and got a senior steak with salad bar. Then they gave me a veteran discount. That made the evening perfect. The steak was cooked exactly the way I wanted it, the salad bar was delicious. They had lots of kiwi fruit and avocados and various salad types. The waitress was very friendly and personable and attentive and well-deserving of the tip we left her. Thank you Sizzler

My first time ever going to sizzlers and it was great. I remember it used to be in LA in Las Vegas, but it's no longer open there. I've never had a chance to try it and now that I've moved out here and had the chance to actually go it was great. The food was delicious. Loved the customer service will be back
