The Duncombe Arms - Sandy - Photo album

This is the second time I’ve eaten here - both occasions we were served with excellent quality food. When the menu says ‘homemade’ it really is! Order it, next time you’re at this pub! Once again, we visited The Duncombe Arms (4th February 2023) and without fail we were rewarded with excellent home
Came here on a Wednesday as they do an offer. 2 x 8oz steaks and a bottle of wine for £40. Steak was cooked perfectly. Couldn’t fault food. Paid extra for onion rings and sauce. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be returning, maybe next time for Sunday dinner…
We had Sunday lunch here and it was exceptionally good. A warm welcome, swift service and the most delicious food. I had the Sunday roast which was cooked to perfection and a really generous serving, all seasonal and very fresh veg, tender beef and perfect roast potatoes. My children had the kids me
Visited for the first time last night with a friend and we both had the chicken pie, which was excellent. Service was first class and the bar maid/waitress was very attentive and made us feel very welcome - we shall return
We went to the Duncombe Arms for a friend's 25th anniversary and we were treated to a hog roast. The food was very good. The pub was a good host and nothing seemed to much trouble the staff were very hardworking and worked hard to make it a really good evening.
Stopped here for a Friday lunch. Was busy but still plenty of room. Meals ranged from pub classics (burger, fish and chips) £14 to steaks at £24. There was a children's menu and small play area outside. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Nice pub to stop at.
All round a great evening, friendly staff, relaxing and excellent food, big portions , sadly we were so full we couldn't fit in desserts, next time. Thank you.
Initially came in just for a post dog walk G&T, ended up stopping for dinner as well! Very nice dinner out. Loved it.
Delicious beer - I had the Full Nelson, a locally produced brew, sweet, creamy and hoppy. I also had the burger which was excellent. Lots of chips! Very welcoming and friendly proprietor. Who went out of her way to accommodate me and my dog. Highly recommended!
Delicious homemade pie, burger and steak enjoyed tonight, made even better with half off for "Eat out to help out." Gravy was a little disappointing, thin and mildly burnt. Pizza was very much enjoyed by my son, but I felt the sauce was lacking and tasted "mostly" of tomato puree. Service good and f
Lovely building with a relaxed atmosphere. The beer selection is good with a good range of snacks. The service is relaxed and you are made to feel at home in a local pub. The food looks very generous and appealing although I haven’t eaten here personally yet. Great place to stop for a beer after a l
A very interesting menu. Had a lovely fish and chips.
My first time at the Duncombe Arms, a lovely welcome from the lady behind the bar she was very informative about the whole set up of the pub. My brother and I ordered our lunch and it was first class no complaints from us, we'll be back in the new year.
Friendly, welcoming staff and outstanding food. Decided to splash out for Valentine's Day meal which was excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough.
