We tried lots of places around Saundersfoot, Periwinkle was a great little place but we got our timings wrong and it was very busy (which is great) however we were on a table in a walkway and it just didn't add to the atmosphere. Would visit again but maybe when not so busy.

Whilst having a day out in Saundersfoot decided to stop for lunch at the Bistro. We sat outside and had fish finger sandwiches and a ham salad both with chips. The service was good and the meals were excellent. Not sure about atmosphere having eaten outside. I think we may have been the last customers to be served a lunch has a number of customers were asked to come back later. I think the Bistro should revisit this decision on a busy day. They appeared to loose a significant number of customers.
I would recommend a visit to the Bistro for the food.

We tried Periwinkle with a very helpful young waitress who suggested the battered prawns salad with chips. I settled for a small bowl of muscles which was cooked blandly without white wine & celery making no jus as well as three shells failed to open.
Without my wife's shared oil cooked tasty & light chips it would of been meager.
To compensate this we had two churros with thick melted chocolate 'delightful'.

Amazing food and really lovely staff. Dog friendly inside and out and the food is delicious. We went twice for lunch and once for breakfast during our week holiday in Saundersfoot. Can't wait to come back again next year.

Fantastic evening meal at Periwinkle. The family and I ate tapas and had a great selection of dishes. Every one of them was delicious. Would definitely go back next time we were in Saundersfoot.

Can't fault this place - wonderful owner & staff who are really attentive (they're also really great if you have a dog), great food and fantastic coffee. We always visit Periwinkle Bistro when we visit Saundersfoot for a coffee and cake. Brilliant.
