Went just after Christmas for Sunday lunch. Really enjoyed the homemade food, it was hot and on a warm plate, how it should be! Nice atmosphere and staff. We will definitely be back and we will also be trying their other meal nights. Reasonably priced, would recommend.
Re opening night today for food. 30/7/25 we have been waiting for ages for somewhere in Long Eaton to start serving home cooked food again at great prices and WOW. Absolutely amazing and we will be coming back for more thank you Nags Head!!

Decent olde-style pub with nice staff. Real home-made food. Reasonable choice of standard ales, plus a couple of cask ales. Dog friendly. Outside area.
Recently taken over by a group of ladies who've bought in a new chef. Food got better, and so did the service.
