Lovely country pub with superb food/beer & a very warm welcome. We stayed for the weds curry night - the meal was absolutely delicious & portion size generous! We would highly recommend & will definitely return in future :-)
We adore this place. Beautifully kept. Interesting menu leading to pretty and delicious food. Lovely little garden with proper patio furniture. Best bit though, are the owners. Totally lovely people who are so welcoming and who can't do enough to cater for you. Just a wonderful experience every time we go. An absolute Suffolk gem.
We went because I wanted to visit the pub from "the detectorists". Was really cool. Beautiful pub, really atmospheric. Food was amazing, the owner was really lovely and friendly, and the chef was also really chill and accommodating (we were a little late for food , but he was more than happy to make us something anyway)

Superb. Has to be up there in terms of one of my favourite country pubs in, er, the country.
Staff couldn’t be more accommodating and the food is fantastic. Having visited in the run up to Christmas the place looks amazing with the decorations and fireplaces.
Congrats to everyone at The Crown it’s a wonderful place to grab a drink or a meal.

Lovely friendly proper old English pub! A great selection of local brews and beers. If you're a fan of the BBC show Detectorists you'll already know this place. 😉
We were recommended this pleasant little inn. I'm not disappointed at all great food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. What more could you want.
