Three of us had lunch at the Crown today and what a joy it was. Pubs like this deserve to be congratulated for the quality of service and for the food on offer. There are chefs and chefs. This one seems to understand how to prepare simple, well cooked and well presented food all at a very reasonable
Visited in January for a light lunch, and to see where the detectorist was filmed. Great food and local ales ... in fact very friendly locals too. The lady on the bar was very nice, especially considering that my friend tried to redecorate the place with a glass of coke! would definitely recommend,

Sunday roast plus a veggie. They have a separate veggie menu, which was much appreciated. Food was really nice especially the gravy and the veggie gravy was particularly remarked upon.
Unpretentious, decent quantities great atmosphere and nice folk running it. Nice walks nearby.
Will be back.
The food was absolutely delicious, the lady behind the bar was very friendly and lovely. We will all definitely be back next time we visit Suffolk.

Lovely country pub with superb food/beer & a very warm welcome. We stayed for the weds curry night - the meal was absolutely delicious & portion size generous! We would highly recommend & will definitely return in future :-)
It's not open just yet but always a friendly place to go for great Beer and home cooked delicious food. It is a free house so great range of beer and lovely atmospheric bar and seating for restaurant eating area. The garden is lovely in the summer too.
It was a nice pub with attentive staff. I feel the menu could have had more options.

Staff couldn’t be more accommodating and the food is fantastic. Having visited in the run up to Christmas the place looks amazing with the decorations and fireplaces.
