It Was the first week they have done even meals and a new chief, what an amazing experience very friendly host food was very good and I am a very fussy eater , I had burger and my husband had the chicken just right amount to eat , nice coffee and very good cake, all cooked from fresh,
They are opening the cottage next month, if we come back here would definitely look to see if we could stay.
It was dark when we got there, but what we could see if the facility in the spa area looked good, they have an open air pool and hot tubs too,.
Wish you all the best with this new adventure .
Just maybe some light near the car park in the evening, but we had our phones to see back to the car.

We spent the day at the Dunwich beach and ended up at the Yurt for lunch as it was a few minutes drive away.
The food was prepared by a Spanish chef and was very well presented and tasty.
Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby. We learned about the cottages they rent by the night, the spa, hot tubs, swimming pools etc during our visit. We may have to return for a few nights holiday here some day.
We decided to give somewhere different a chance, and the images on Google maps reviews definitely helped! We popped in for a tranquil, tasty meal and were not disappointed. Very friendly staff, I had the sea bass which was fabulous and full of flavour, and my partner enjoyed the burger. Would fully recommend the food for sure!
Only had drinks but lovely coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Great staff and service - I will be back to dine in on another occasion as food looks good too.

Lovely relaxed dinner at the Yurt. Really friendly service with good service and wine.
We weren't sure if it was going to be a child friendly location, but it really is. Children loved playing on the climbing frame just next to the outdoor dining area.
My son has a milk allergy, they were so helpful and happily came up with something from scratch that would work for him.
So pleased to have visited The Yurt Bistro on our trip to Suffolk, and would highly recommend anyone to pay a visit.
We found it from a search on Google Maps and booked a table as we liked the idea of an organic yurt dining experience.
The location and yurt were very inviting and the service was extremely good and attentive.
There was a good menu selection and the food was prepared and cooked to a high standard. We all enjoyed our three courses very much. It was also nice to meet the chef who was keen to know our feedback.
If we come to Suffolk again then we’ll be sure to return.

The gardens and yurt are beautiful and in a lovely off road setting. We didn’t have it but we saw it; the tea and cakes set looked pretty spectacular. We had the dinner menu, (on a Sunday) sitting inside the yurt; which has a log burner for colder nights. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and professional. We didn’t have a cocktail but the food and drinks menu, including all homemade deserts, are all very well put together with lots of meat/fish and veggie options. We had a nice wine with our meal and they even have draught beer.
Would definitely recommend , even just for a coffee or pint passing through.
Next time I will make sure I make time to go to the Spa too!! Such a friendly staff and owner.
I am absolutely in love with this place! I stumbled across the Yurt Bistro during a whistle-stop tour of Suffolk a couple of weekends ago and was so taken it with it that I brought my mum back the following weekend. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the food is divine! I highly recommend the ratatouille - the staff aren't lying when they tell you how good the sauce at the bottom of the bowl is! ;) Looking forward to our next visit already and hoping to bring my swimming costume next time!

Not a rating, rather a warning, but I don't want to damage their reputation.
We booked on line, got confirmation AND a reminder by e-mail. However when we arrived the whole place was shut up.
Very apologetic owner explained that the online booking system (Acuity) was ignoring the fact that they were closed due to unforseen circumstances.
Menu looks lovely and owner seemed nice but do make sure before you go...
