Lifeboat Fish Bar - Scarborough - Photo album

Called in tonight with the family, we called in advance and booked a table. We received a warm welcome from the young lady in the shop area and also by the waitress in the restaurant. Our order was taken promptly and our food was on the table quickly. Haddock , chips, mushy peas were all delicious.
Excellent quality fish and chips, big portions, good value for money. Not overly greasy. But the jewel in the crown are the staff, they are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!
The staff were really nice when we stopped by for fish & chips. The restaurant was very busy so people were having to wait, they were professional taking numbers to ring when they had tables free. We had haddock & chips, and cod & chips. We both really enjoyed what we had, both fish were very tasty

Perfect fish and chips in the restaurant. Fish was skinned and boned, crispy batter, great chips. I can't recall having better than this, anywhere. Excellent service from the serving staff.

Ok, I think this may be a little controversial but I think I just found a chippy that’s beats any in Whitby. The staff were friendly as I entered and although busy took my order straight away, and the fish was battered and dropped in the fryer. After a short wait the Cod & Chips, with Scraps, was de
