Based on a score of 4.9 on here (Aug 23) we ignored the main promenade chippies and headed here. We weren't disappointed. š For Ā£35 we had 4 fish suppers (2 haddock, 1 cod & a lite bite haddock). They were a good size portion with free scraps. The fish were nicely cooked, not oily and tasty batter.
Lovely fish and chips with friendly, attentive staff. The batter was crispy and full of flavour, the cod melted in the mouth, and the chips were creamy.
Come at opening to secure a table if you want to sit in, as cafe is small.
