Delightful food, plenty of it. Good quality and cooked to perfection. Service from the ... more experienced was very friendly and pleasingly professional - I asked for which wine and the result was spot on. I know a bit about wine, the wine list was very appealing but very slightly better than the normal trends, I wanted to try them all so she made a recommendation and gave a small taster. Wonderful - the wine and her service. The pictures don't do the place or food justice but hopefully will give a good idea. The first was my soup which was delicious, cream of celeriac and bacon. When it arrived I knew it was too much and proposed to eat only some of it, but it was so nice I couldn't stop and ended up scraping the bowl. I'm considering a 5 hour drive back again just to have some more. The second picture was of the Goujons of plaice, very nice. Third picture is of my lamb which of course was sublime and finally a picture of the venison. Unfortunately I ate too much soup to fit a dessert and those in our company were also truly sated. At £35 a head including wine, for this level of eating is sound value for money. On our next visit North we will be swerving for a stop at Jeremy's in Scarborough, and highly recommend this haven to people looking for a quiet dinner.

The type of food you would expect at a top London restaurant. Sunday lunch is excellent value given the quality on offer. Check out the dessert photo. Update... just been again and the food was delicious once again.

Beautiful place. Hostess found a table for us when we just popped in! Food really tasty & well presented. Will return again if back in area. Must do! As Jeremy & Anne are moving onto a new venture in October! Wishing you all the best!
