Oh wow where do I start!! We ate here last night after spending a night in Scarborough. The staff were so friendly and very prompt! You weren't hounded whilst eating to ask if the food was ok (we all know how much we hate being asked when we have a mouth full!) so very organised and the food was spot on!! Would highly recommend a calzone followed by a little hanky panky!.... yes that's the name of the pudding. Amazing pudding at that! If you love a good Italian then you must try a gianni's!!
We have been today in this place and it was absolutely amazing, delicious and marvellous!!!steak was perfect, calmari excellent, everything so fresh And tasty!!! My partner took duck breast - sooooo juicy and perfectly done and duck pate... i was speechless. Great service :)

We called last minute and they were able to secure a table, when we asked if they are dog friendly he said “of course if they are well behaved” which I think is absolutely the best attitude to take! When we arrived they welcomed us warmly and sat us upstairs, barely a free table in the place but it was such a beautiful vibe! The lovely waitress was knowledgeable on the menu and gave me the best recommendations for garlic mushrooms and the squid ink ravioli, the wait for food was quite long to be fair, but the freshly prepared authentic treats are well worth the wait and she did both advise it might be a wait, it also said so when busy in the menu and she was apologetic about it. I’ll be returning for sure! It’s a must!
The staff are so friendly and attentive, enough though it was very busy. The food is fresh and tasty. The portion size are large. We got a few starters to share. Such great value for money. Highly recommend booking. Has a separate vegan menu.
Booked through their website. Shown to the table and ordered. Started with bread and dipping oil, the bread came nice and warm the oil arrived 5-10 minutes later, too late. Main courses were lovely although we had to ask for parmigiana. We were then asked to leave our table as they wanted it back for a larger booking. Had we decided to have sweet, we would have had to have eaten it elsewhere as it was we had to finish our drinks downstairs. Asked for the bill, it never came, we paid at the bar and left....
We visited Gianni's to celebrate our son's 13th birthday while away on holiday (he requested somewhere that did 'proper' pizza) The food was exceptional and the staff were all really friendly and attentive. We had booked a table and arrived at 6pm. The restaurant was already busy and stayed that way throughout the time we were there (not a surprise considering how lovely it was!). Despite how busy it was, we were never long waiting for anything! Orders were taken quickly and food was quick to arrive and absolutely delicious! We all had 3 courses and 2 drinks each, we couldn't believe the price when the bill came! We checked it twice because we were convinced they must have missed something off! Brilliant value for money! We will definitely be returning next time we are in Scarborough! Thank you for a wonderful evening! I couldn't pick a fault if my life depended on it! AMAZING!

Great food, all cooked from fresh. Takes a little longer to get to the table, but you don't mind if it's all made from scratch. The owner and staff are lovely and wonderful. We couldn't fault anything. 5 stars from us 😃👍
Went for birthday meal. Amazing garlic bread and pizza. Even had a pudding, most unlike me!!
Visited on spec as I couldn't get through on the the phone to book. But they fitted me in okay. Food was very good and the staff were all very obliging. Would go again when in the area.
