What a great place , we were in Scarborough for an apt and googled great coffee in Scarborough, this place was top of the list so we went and weren’t disappointed.we had a latte and a cappuccino & toasted bagels . It was lovely the Barista knows his stuff we would definitely go again when in Scarborough
Such an amazing hidden coffee shop staff were lovely and very knowledgeable best coffee I've had in some time and I drink my fair share of coffee!
Yay Coffee catered for our private event twice over a weekend and they were simply wonderful. A colleague invited the whole company (40 people) to his farm in Yorkshire for the weekend and both mornings (when some of us may have been feeling a tad fragile!) we had amazing unlimited coffees, soft drinks and a mixture of gorgeous pastries supplied. Everyone loved it and the coffee was incredible. Lottie even made a lovely personal sign for our event! We would definitely use Yay Coffee if we did this again!

Yay Coffee were excellent at helping us install our coffee machine. They have so much knowledge, skill and passion with all things coffee. Rob even came back to the bakery a few times to check everything was still working well, also sampled some of our coffee and pastries as well just to make sure!😊
Rob and Lottie were absolutely fabulous in their help , advice and support in helping to set up my coffee bar, here at Olive.
Rob's knowledge and passion for coffee is incredible, and his commitment and willingness to get his work to perfection levels is very admirable. Not only did he hand make a knock shoot for the coffee bar, but he also stayed past *midnight* to finish off his work; and continued to support and provide us with advice throughout the process of opening.
Their professionalism , married with friendliness and approachability makes both Lottie and Rob a fabulous team.

Everything here is just fantastic.
The drinks (we had coffee and hot chocolate) are delicious and the food (I had a peanut butter and jam bagel) is no different.
Everything was made using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The cafe itself is equal parts quirky and cozy. The staff cant do enough to accomodate you, including giving customers fresh water while they wait for their drinks. Even the music was good.
I can't imagine going to Scarborough without popping in here.

The establishment may be small, but I believe it only adds to the cosy aesthetic. This is honestly one of the most beautiful and welcoming coffee shops that I have ever been to. The coffees and other various hot beverages are absolutely stunning (I'm quite fond of the white hot chocolate!). If you are quite a tall person, like myself, you may struggle to find space for seating. Luckily enough, you can order for the drink to go! But if you do find a space, just sit down and relax, I think you'd struggle not to!
The only negative I could possibly give is that you can become addicted to their beautiful concoctions. Once been, will always come back for more.
This is a specialist coffee shop with a light touch and a warm smile. They have special 'coffees of the day' and know how to make a Chai Latte properly too.
Mornings and lunch time they serve bagels with some delicious fillings. After 3pm they have cakes on special offer with your coffee.
Yay Coffee! occupies a small space in a basement with just 5 tables in the back. As you enter you have to walk around the barista counter to get there. It's obvious what the place is all about. The young owners are friendly and helpful. Even at lunch time the service is good. Seek them out and say hi.
From the moment I've entered I knew these people are passionate about what they do, amazing coffee, friendly staff and great atmosphere is what makes this place one of the best coffee shops there are, if you thinking about coffee, think about Yay Coffee!
Very nice setup with small van and freshly ground coffee and hot chocolate, must enjoy with views over coast.
