Was everything I expected and more. The hotel itself is situated within gorgeous scenery, which, sitting within the restaurant itself you can view and or have a lovely view of the courtyard. Either is idyllic. The service was brilliant. We were seated within good time and attended to efficiently without being overbearing. With the food being served within good timings. The food itself was amazing. I couldn't fault it. Apart from filling me up so I couldn't sample the sticky toffee pudding! Everything was well presented, cooked well and tasted yummy! I'll definitely be returning to sample the afternoon tea and also sit in the Bistro area that looks so warm and cosy and inviting near the fire. :)
