An unexpected stay away from our home in the Midlands due to a family emergency. Tony, Debbie & all of the staff (especially Claire) were very kind & supportive which made a difficult time much easier. Starting the day & getting back from daily hospital visits was just what we needed, a nice welcome, excellent food & a good selection of drinks. Thanks very much to you all. We enjoyed the area too, so if we came back we wouldn't stay anywhere else.
This is a great example of a traditional style Inn. The village is lovely, the pub is good, and everything is much better maintained and cleaned than most such places. The staff were super friendly and helped us out a lot. There is ample parking, and the road is quiet at night.
I didn't stay for the night, I was there for a family meal. An excellent atmosphere, great Landlord & Landlady. A wonderful Sunday dinner, good portions, fairly priced. Very professional waiting-on staff. All in all a great experience, recommended.
