I really love Sabroso and get one quite regularly!
However for the past two times when I have asked for lots of spice, it’s still been quite mild. I get Mexican mainly for the heat, so this has been slightly disappointing, especially when I asked if we could have it extra hot as the last time it was too mild. I think they may have taken green chillis off the menu!
Aside from this it’s the best take away in town to prevent that awful sluggish feeling! Everything tastes so fresh and delicious � always super quick with delivery or Collection and the desserts are amazing!
My only suggestion would be to package the food in something recyclable - I can’t image how many of those non-recyclable polystyrene boxes go out on a daily basis considering how busy Sabroso. It saddens me how much wastage comes from one meal!!
All in all though it’s still my favourite in town just please get green chillis back! ��
Sabroso is a breath of fresh air for the town when my sisters told me about this place and how much they loved it I had to try. I was not disappointed the food is excellent and by far the best I’ve tasted. I will be ordering again with out a doubt. Thank you

Only gripe wish there was a bit more sauce with chilli con carne but a minor thing
They probably had it but just never asked for it
I'd give it 10* if I could , can't recommend it enough

We always have a great, reasonably priced meal from Sabroso. Much healthier than other takeaways too!
Really nice takeaway, very quick service and good prices. Due to covid-19 we wanted to help out independent places to make sure they are still around In the future. Staff in the shop were all friendly, chatty and helpful. Food tastes nice and was a good portion size. They also stock gluten-free and vegan options too. Have a great choice of items on the menu including, homemade cakes, drinks, nachos, burritos and meals deals. Only down side is that they don't take card, so make sure you have cash with you. If you love Mexican food then this is the takeaway for you.
The reviews don't lie. May have been the best burrito I ever had and definitively contending for the top spot. Brownie was delicious as well.

I had a gigantic vegan burrito from here before Elbow. I selected the regular size so I'm glad I didn't go for large! Really tasty and hot. Decent spicy hot sauce. My partner chose the chicken burrito and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Very reasonably priced - meal deals available.
Excellent menu, (I recommend the enchiladas with beef!) great value, swift delivery!!! 🤠 my photo isn’t sexy - but it IS delicious!!
Small local restaurant but food is top notch & the lady behind the counter was kind.
Spot on again today as always. Usually get a delivery but while I was near I popped and ate in. Great fresh produce and a cracking price. Keep up the good work. Like my reviews people 👍
