Recently moved into the village and The Gamekeeper has quickly become our ‘local’.
Excellent food and some great deals on offer. Three course lunch time specials at £12.95 are amazing value, early bird 5-6pm with two mains for £20 and a lovely main menu as well. Looking forward to sampling the new bar snack menu. The food is cooked fresh to order but still comes out in a reasonable amount of time and to be honest, when places serve food rapidly I always wonder as to it’s freshness. Entertainment on a Saturday night often with a band playing and a fab range of drinks. Always a warm welcome with a great team of staff. Cheers everyone !!

Would have been 5 star but for a couple of tiny mistakes . The food was on the whole very nice but missing parts of the main let it down . We will try them again . Reasonable value .

We originally went in for a drink but decided to have a meal, even though it was very busy they still fitted us in, great staff, food

Was told to try restaurant as new owners offering great food, so booked for Friday evening with my wife we had a main course each I ordered the Greek mixed grill and my wife had fillet steak with a pepper sauce.
We had a very attentive waitress Amy, also the owner called by and introduced himself and had a little chat very nice, pleasant person.
The mixed grill had steak 2x lamb chops 2 x kebabs with bread, Greek salad and chips and was absolutely delicious 😋
My wife steak was excellent and she loved it.
We were too full for pudding so we'll just have to go back again 😄 😆
