We had a warm welcome on arrival and a wonderful lunch. It was a joy to experience such quality food, prepared with care, cooked with excellent culinary expertise, and presented with beautiful precision.
The front of house service was impeccable, informative, prompt, precise, yet friendly. A delight.
We travelled for over an hour to the restaurant and the journey was well worth it.
Our conversation on the way back home was all about the food.

The atmosphere and decor were great, it was very relaxing and calm. Most of the food was very nice, 3 of us had the same food and all said that the leek was not cooked but everything else was very nice. In my opinion the wait between course was very slow, there not many other tables in that night and we seemed to wait forever between courses. This may be what you expect for this style of restaurant, but it is just my opinion. The staff were very polite, but they were constantly at the table removing cutlery or glasses and asking if everything was OK. For me, they should wait until the end of the course and remove everything or wait to be called over if we need something. It was dark on arrival and it was pretty hard to see the entrance to the car park.

The best restaurant in Scunthorpe, the food is unforgettable. The flavours, presentation and fresh ingredients are what sets this restaurant apart, I'm Italian and I can say that it's real Italian food. The staff are great, super professional and friendly. The price is not cheap, but it is very worth it. You have to pay well if you want quality food. I highly recommend it, I hope to return soon.

I attended a wedding here on Saturday. Function was just about right and lead into a nice garden area, so it didn't feel too crowded. Bar service was good and drinks prices about what you would expect for a hotel. The standard of decor and attention to detail was very good.
Just an observation on the upkeep. The entrance looked like it could have done with a sweep and vac and also the paved area and dwarf walls in the garden area could have done with some TLC in the form of a jet wash, just to bring it back to new.

Special recommendation to Eve working on reception and in the restaurant. And to Pietro himself for his excellent food and banter. Both stood out in an overall very professional service. Also thanks to the mother and daughter team (sorry I can’t remember names) for making us feel welcome, too, and going out of their way for us.
The business rooms look superb for events. Same for weddings.

First time guest at this restaurant, and was extremely impressed by both the dining experience and the extremely helpful and friendly staff. It always pains me when people complain about the prices when the food is this good. I can sincerely say I am looking forward to visiting this place again.

Lovely -but we thought there was just something missing !! Food was lovely we had the taster menu again very nice
Our room was on the top floor had NO air con but they had a stand alone fan which was ok.
But room was nice and the dressing gowns and slipper pervaded was a nice touch also with shower gel and body lotion was not those little freebie’s it’s was a full size pump bottle which smells divine - nice touch.
Tea and coffee in the room and a mini fridge with real milk (nice touch ) and there were chocolate and biscuits to have
On our booking in was offered glass of Prosecco each which was again a nice gesture.
Meal was at 8pm we was a little early but had cocktails and wine until our table was ready.
Service for drink could have been faster but didn’t spoil anything.
After Dinner we headed back to our room when we saw people coming out the building as there was a fire alarm going off everyone was stood around so I went in to tell the staff at the restaurant that the fire alarm has gone off
The staff very quickly sorted it and it was down to someone not closing the shower door and the stem set off the alarm !!
There is a warning on the bathroom sink to say keep door closed when showering as it set off alarm!!
But overall very nice -would I go again …,
Yes definitely ,would I stay over no I don’t think so.

We had our wedding day yesterday at San Pietro. The whole day and night was just amazing! Jenna is just the best and does everything to help the day go so smoothley and put you at ease and definatley takes any stress away from you! Barbara is also fantastic and made me feel so calm. The food, the rooms and the venue is just amazing, we will be back every year for our anniversary. Thankyou for everything we had the most special day 💛

Absolutely fantastic place compared to the other local offerings. Very clean rooms, near to major super market, friendly staff, and more importantly the food is astounding and despite the fact that it is a bit expensive, it is worth evertly penny

We had our wedding here in February and it was absolutely perfect. We only booked with 3 months left to plan and I am so glad we chose San Pietro as the venue. Jenna has been amazing throughout the process. Her relaxed professionalism settled my nerves at each meeting. Nothing was too much trouble. We got married in the conservatory and continues in the Milano Suite after. The decor was stunning and having Jenna and her team set up, took all the pressure off us.
The food was incredible - we went with the Mediterranean buffet. Every mouthful was delicious! In the evening the pizzas went down a treat although the groom is yet to try them as he was too full from the meal! All the feedback from the guests was that the venue was stunning yet chilled which was just what we wanted.
Thank you Jenna and your team for planning, the chefs and the staff on the night for making it a perfect day. We can't wait for our next child-free date night when we'll be back to enjoy a meal in peace!

We recently experienced the San Pietro Gourmet Staycation Package. From start to end our experience with the hotel and restaurant was fantastic. The service at the hotel and in the restaurant was brilliant. The food in the restaurant was out of this world, I would highly recommend the taste of Sicily menu, it’s delicious and we were so full. Unlike other taster menus I have tried the portions are very generous. I would recommend this package, not only an amazing experience but great value for money also.
