Tucked in between a charity shop and a takeaway on Ashby High Street, you'll find an amazing little Indian restaurant that has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Clay Oven has amazing staff who are helpful, informative and very funny. They helped me find a meal I'd like that didn't contain any of my allergens, which was cooked to perfection. It's been a very long time since I've truly enjoyed an Indian meal and I can not recommend The Clay Iven highly enough. Thank you for a great night guys.

The food was good the only downside was how long it took to arrive. Sunday evening with only 9 people in the restaurant yet we waited nearly an hour for our meals. Goodness knows what it's like when they are busy. Otherwise it was fine.

Ordered the shared platter. Says it serves 2 but we have another portion which will not go to waste!. So much food, it was delicious & arrived earlier than we expected. The chicken was cooked to perfection & the sauces were delicious. Will definitely be ordering again. New ownership = massive positive changes. Thank you

Called in for dinner after travelling back from leeds, and as usual the food and service were excellent. Never had a poor meal here in al the time the place has been open, highly recomended.
