A relaxed pub with good simple food.
I like how relaxed this pub is.
Nice friendly staff. The owner Steve is always happy do have a discussion and recommend a beer for you to try.
I’ve uploaded photos of the menu and updated the times.
There is also a lot that the heritage group do based from this pub, so please ask about that.
Make sure you ask about the tank ramp and the goings on during word war two.
They also do a great beer festival and celebrate burns night with the best haggis I’ve ever tasted.
All in all the best village pub !

Really good Sunday carvery. Lamb beef pork turkey gammon .. all for under a tenner. Brilliant xxx

Myself + 2 more had the Sunday carvery. I was impressed because all the veg was fresh not frozen .Good choice of meat & veg. The restaurant is directly on the bank of the river trent with good scenic views. Friendly staff. I would definitely go again.
