An amazing pub with fantastic staff. Me and my brother stopped over on a work night. The food was absolutely amazing and good portions for the price. The chef on the morning making breakfast was a pleasure to chat with. 100% recommend to anyone

A great find at a sensible price. Nice little touches like tea/coffee & biscuits in the room, a pint of real milk in the fridge, even a foxes glacier mint! Oh and a fantastic breakfast!

A very friendly at home atmosphere. The u it we was in is very comfortable and large bed. easy to park and food including the breakfast first class and plenty.

I arrived after dark and left early for a course so didn't explore the area. The village though and the pub were easy to find and check in. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable.

Haven't been for 5yrs, went Sunday for carvery didn't disappointed us, very large selection of veg. We'll done guys.

Nice clean accommodation, in a very peaceful location. A lovely comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with our vehicle emergency, allowing us to stay on site later while waiting for the tow truck and taxi. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Lodges were clean and spacious with fresh milk left in a fridge for tea and coffee (nice touch). Staff in bar very very helpful. Breakfast delicious

Rooms at the back of the tavern are great and equipped with a fridge.
If your room is in the tavern itself there is a shared fridge and microwave in hallway.
Breakfast is also available from 6:30 and evening meals from 18:00.
Food is excellent and value for money.

Just passing popped in for sunday lunch
Well let me tell you there were 5 different meats to choose from . Lamb,beef.gammon pork and turkey. And as many different veg 2 types of stuffing. And very good value try it. We will be going back
