Absolutely loved it. We had the steak and Ale pie with gravy and the ultimate southern fried chicken burger, with onion rings and sweet potato fries as sides. Food came out and did not fail to impress. Food was hot and with generous portions. The steak pie was full and not just a couple of chunks,
First time here for a carvery. Have to say the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. The carvery was excellent, definitely recommend, we will be coming back very soon.
I booked a table for 2 in advance and we were shown to our table immediately on arrival. We specifically went for a carvery, which we had and the food was lovely. All the staff members that dealt with us were polite, well-presented and Professional.
Good place to visit. Was fairly quiet but it was Tuesday. Friendly staff. Very nice carvery all weel long.
Me & my family regularly go for Sunday lunch. The service is great as nothing is too much trouble for Lauren & shes always got a smile on her face. Keep up the good work Lauren!
We are regular customers and always in for Wednesday quiz. The staff are lovely but lauren always goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Nothing is too much trouble and she always smiles and asks how we are. She is obviously a valuable member of staff and I can't rate her hi
Visited here, and was very surprised. The pub looks amazing both inside and out. However, the car park was empty and there were not many people inside. However, the carvery was amazing! Had Beef, Turkey and Gammon available along with all the veg incredible tasting and friendly staff. The drink was
Wow, what a great visit, the new manager is making great changes here and its made such a difference. Had a great meal and will be back to try more of the menu. Definitely got my eye on the orange chocolate brownie.
We were there for a family birthday meal it was a warm welcoming place the service was first class food was equally based good will certinally return for further meals but the down side you have to.walk past smokers in the entrance not very nice
Looking a bit shabby now and not as busy as we expected. The food was really nice though and reasonably priced. There's a large car park and it's all on the same level so it's wheelchair friendly with an assisted toilet. Dogs aren't allowed inside but there is an outdoor area with seats.
Was recommended by family and it didn't disappoint. Was 3 choices of meat on the carvery and what must have been 6/8" yourshire pudding. Not a massive choice of veg but there was enough. Would definitely visit again.
The guys and gals at the iron forge are so friendly. It feels like a very cozy friendly pub. The food is outstanding 👌. The young lady ellie behind the bar was outstanding and Darren was a little star. Thank you guys. Love Bec n Don.
Visited for the first time on Monday (15th). The pub was quiet, but service was prompt and staff friendly. Typical pub grub, but was served hot, well presented and tasty. The Manager (sorry didn't catch his name) was warm and welcoming and good for a bit of banter. The pub is presented well, clean a
