Absolutely loved it.
We had the steak and Ale pie with gravy and the ultimate southern fried chicken burger, with onion rings and sweet potato fries as sides.
Food came out and did not fail to impress. Food was hot and with generous portions. The steak pie was full and not just a couple of chunks, 😋 flavoursome, and the pastry was nice.
The burgers were burgers and came out looking like the picture, not flat as pancakes like most. The prices were extremely reasonable for what we got. No complaints.
The place was clean and the staff were friendly. Although I did not have the all-day carvery, it looked amazing and will be coming back to try. 🤩 I can't believe I had not been here sooner. The pictures don't do it justice.
Overall, we were very happy and would recommend and will be coming back again 😃

I booked a table for 2 in advance and we were shown to our table immediately on arrival.
We specifically went for a carvery, which we had and the food was lovely. All the staff members that dealt with us were polite, well-presented and Professional.

Me & my family regularly go for Sunday lunch. The service is great as nothing is too much trouble for Lauren & shes always got a smile on her face. Keep up the good work Lauren!
We are regular customers and always in for Wednesday quiz. The staff are lovely but lauren always goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Nothing is too much trouble and she always smiles and asks how we are. She is obviously a valuable member of staff and I can't rate her high enough. She doesnt stop all night and puts 100% into her work . Thank you Lauren you're a star x
Visited here, and was very surprised. The pub looks amazing both inside and out. However, the car park was empty and there were not many people inside. However, the carvery was amazing! Had Beef, Turkey and Gammon available along with all the veg incredible tasting and friendly staff. The drink was unlimited and tasted good too. Will definitely come back if in the area!
Wow, what a great visit, the new manager is making great changes here and its made such a difference. Had a great meal and will be back to try more of the menu. Definitely got my eye on the orange chocolate brownie.
We were there for a family birthday meal it was a warm welcoming place the service was first class food was equally based good will certinally return for further meals but the down side you have to.walk past smokers in the entrance not very nice
Looking a bit shabby now and not as busy as we expected. The food was really nice though and reasonably priced. There's a large car park and it's all on the same level so it's wheelchair friendly with an assisted toilet. Dogs aren't allowed inside but there is an outdoor area with seats.
