Not as good as it had been in previous years. I stopped going here since owners changed. Went back recently, to see that not a great deal has changed. Good for a social meet up and regular pub grub. Beers good. Entertainment is good. Food is as you'd expect. Sometimes they hit the nail on the head pushing out good plates. Others they definitely shatter your hopes of having as good food as you had last time. I sure hope you like onions. If your ordering a sizzler my mixed grill came fully caked with a layer underneath the food. Literally no word of a lie full onion mush I wish I took a pic now....they say it's so the skillet doesn't burn the food above .....ok ..so don't put it on a skillet then??? Next time I'll ask for no onions. God forbid my plate might actually hold its heat then. I don't take more than 20 to 30min to eat a grill anyway. You'd think they expect you for a long haul.

Still a Brilliant pub after not visiting for six years.Even topped my steak with the legendary stilton & mushroom sauce which isn't an option anymore..Cooked to perfection service was outstanding as ever..A shame my chips wasn't as crispy as I expected but four out of five this time Dolphin.Full up.Thankyou...

Nice place, good prices, good meals , had two breakfasts one with no tomato or mushrooms on could I exchange for some thing else she said would do. When the meals came no tom/ mush on plate just an empty section on the plate ?? No check back so ! I did not want the rest to go cold, so started eating. Already paid so ! ! ! But the rest including the sweet was very nice......Yes I would give it a second go 🤗

Depending on the time of day you can wait 45 minutes to 1 hour sometimes for your food. On a good day you can get your food in 30 minutes. Evenings are longer waits usually. Food is lovely & good value for money. Good Pub Grub!!! Like all places you do get the odd mistake but they always apologise & rectify any mistakes. Desserts are Fabulous!!! All our family love to go here. 😀💜
