I’ve been dining here for years.
Nice friendly family run this cafe.
They serve coffee tea and cold drinks.
The meals are a good price and your meals are cooked from fresh when placing your order.
They have a good variety on their menu and you can have a cooked English breakfast to other choices on their menu.
It’s very clean inside and has a WC for both men and women.
I usually dine indoors so I haven’t had a take out but you can have just a snack inc of hot and cold sandwiches.
The coffee is delicious there.
It’s towards the top end of the high street and I can recommend eating here and very good for value.
It’s wheelchair friendly on the ground floor but there’s a few steps going towards the toilets.

I've been coming here for the last 47 years. My mother used to take me and my little brother for our tea. And it's still the same. It is a lovely place with lovely food. Long live George and elle

An amazing little place, brilliant couple who run it. Fresh food that's freshly made at really good prices. I had a heaped plate of chicken curry, rice, chips, veg and a mug of coffee ☕ all for £6.00. Whare else can you get a meal like that???

The cafe is warm and welcoming. The owners very friendly and love to chat with customers. The whole place has that homely feeling. You get wonderful tasty home cooked food and plenty of it for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a meal for two or a family. Must recommend you try George's coffee it's delicious.
