The Riviera Hotel

Look forward to coming to The Riv almost each week. All the staff are lovely and Emma in the restaurant has been exceptional with our group. The young lady in the pokie area always has a bright inviting manner as well. Importantly, the food is good value and good quality. Thank you guys. Happy customer.

Popped in here with a mate. It was fairly late, around 1am but the Pokies are open until about 4am. The entry was locked & it took a few minutes to be let in. I'm not sure what the Manager was doing when we arrived but he didn't seem pleased about us being there. He mumbled something & gestured towards a table that had a sign in book & qr code, then shoufled away without me knowing what he wanted me to do so I stood there. He came back & asked why I hadn't signed in & I said I thought we weren't doing that anymore. He replied "Well we're still doing it here". We had a drink & left shortly after. To his benefit, the Manager was a lot more pleasant when as we were walking out. He smiled & wished us a good night. I guess he has to deal with some difficult patrons working after midnight but that's part of the job, as is greeting Customers as they arrive.
