Seaford Tavern

It's a nice looking place but unfortunately I did not enjoy my night here. Food is over priced $32 for two small peices of fish, five squid rings with salad and chips has got to be a joke. I also hope you like waiting, starters take about half an hour with dinner another 45 minutes behind that. Food is average at best and nothing special, however I would recommend the schnitzel with a topping if you are going to get anything. If your looking for a quiet meal don't sit anywhere near the wall next to the bar, I've still got thumping in my ears as if I was at a concert. I will say staff are good, happy and very attentive to their patreons. I will not be coming back here, their are plenty of other restaurants around with better food, cheaper prices and quicker service. Such a shame. Also update your online menu it was completely different to the one in the restaurant.

What a joke! Decided after a 8 year break to give the Seaford bistro another chance. More fool us. Same problems that were there last time. Unqualified staff! Rude staff! The staff really have no idea. Food orders, let’s see, group of 23 (which included 6 kids) meals took over an hour to come out……the adult meals that was. Kids meals come out 30 minutes AFTER the adults. Booking was for 6pm. Kids (ranging in ages from 1-8 years) got their dinner at 7.43pm. Now, if that wasn’t enough, we were getting wrong meals not meant for our table. Our food had gone else where. Ask the staff what’s going on, they have no idea they said. Save yourself the trouble. Go else where. Only Fat Cat corporations lining their pockets with the takings from this pub

Really upsetting and disappointing words can not discribe how unhappy with communication with management. Very unprofessional and unsympathetic of there fault about there huge mistake! Booked a private room 4 days prior for a 60th birthday dinner for my family of 24. Was told there was no need for a deposit if we were happy not to have a stuff catering to us. Which was agreed. Got two missed calls a day prior which called back straight away and confirmed of booking. (Nothing was mentioned of any issues) Come the night arrived roughly hour and a half earlier to drop off ballons and cake off. Talked to the lady setting up the room. Where we would like the cake and balloons. (Still nothing mentioned of any issues) Rocked up to no ballons set up strangers in the room we were ment to be in. Talked to manager about the confusion and situation. Her excuse was we did not have a deposit so we were moved to the general dining area. Only a sorry it was a mistake. No regard of compassion or any complamentries. Find out by another family member who arrived roughly 20 minutes prior. As they went to enter the room. They saw stuff moving out our ballons already set up in the room. Not good enough! Shame on you guys! Really ruined a great celebration for me and our family! I hope no other family goes through this experience!
