I tried the Buddha bowl yesterday and have to say it was really nice, chicken with hot & spicy sauce lovely, plenty fresh veg, clean healthy food, no one else offers this in Seaham so definitely a gap for it, will be good for a pint too, had a look inside and it’s coming on really well and will be a welcome addition to our seafront, good luck to you both on this venture

What a great place! Delicious, fresh food with lots of vegan options 😋 Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our dinner so much, that we came back the next morning for breakfast! Highly recommend!
This is a lovely place to just go and have a coffee or maybe something to eat.
The menu is varied and the food is great. Service is spot on with the girls always attentive without been in your face.
Atmosphere is a relaxed vibe. Decor is querky which is how I like it. Toilets are lovely and clean. When you are there you can't help but watch all the different types of dishes that come out to be served. Pricing is reasonable with a very good level of produce/ingredients.

Staff were super lovely and accomodating. I had a Smurf latte and the vegan breakfast, the drinks were definitely the star of the show and I'll be back to try the other speciality lattes. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options too for breakfast which is always nice to see 💕

Loved it. We were served by this lovely lady who is so friendly and decent with customers. She even likes to help with the orders. The food was amazing. There are quite a few vegan options. The restaurant has a very sustainable items and it's philosophy was way more impressive. It's a bit costly but worth every penny. We enjoyed the food and the dessert. This lady helped us with the combination and our requirements. Excellent service. Calm atmosphere. Wonderful motto. Working towards Sustainable products and serving environment. It was a treat to celebrate an occasion and this restaurant made my day. The treat was worth and made me happy more than anything today. Loved the food and more than that loved the service by this lovely lady named Linda. A true generous smile and a very friendly service. Would love to visit again. This dining gave me an experience of a private romantic dine. If the food was 5/5, the service is 10/5 ...

We love coming here on date days and nights. We have brought our boys a long at times and they love a breakfast here! We brought our dog this morning (entrance for dogs are at the back of Clean Bean) a nice.little touch bringing out a bowl of water for your dog. Absolutely fantastic food offering a wide range of clean foods.

This was one of many times we've eaten here and yet again it was just awesome, very friendly staff, well ran by the owners and the food no matter when you're eating is always superb.

Today's breakfast was slightly tainted by a very argumentative customer who left a very negative comment on here and after overhearing the whole thing I couldn't agree less with their comments, it's very simple if you have an issue put it to the staff but be nice like the staff were but to raise your voice and stomp out like a petulant child just made everyone laugh at you, the room was definitely on the side of the staff.
Please, as they say try the Lamproom it's also a nice place but don't be put off Clean Bean you won't be disappointed 😉 #JustBeNice

Popped in for lunch today and had a steak sandwich and turmeric latte. All very tasty and staff are always friendly and attentive. Currently running on a reduced menu, hoping they get the full menu or an updated menu soon.
This was our fourth visit to the restaurant. There is a dog friendly outdoor courtyard at the rear which has heating and there are even dog bowls supplied. The waitress who served us is always friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is great and all the food home cooked and is tasty and great value. This time I had the Patatas Bravas with chicken. It was very tasty and there was a very very generous amount of chicken.
Well worth a visit particularly if you’re looking for something different.
Absolutely amazing. As someone with coeliac disease, there are very few locations where I can eat safe in knowledge that gluten contamination isn't a risk factor. Clean Bean is the best option by far. They always ask about allergies and note down that I'm a coeliac. Moreover, the food and extensive range of drinks (bulletproof coffee!) is wonderful, and the staff are so friendly and courteous.
My favourite place to eat in all of the north east.
